As a firefighter with a four-days-on, four-days-off schedule, I enjoy quality time with my daughter, often attending playdates and activities as one of the few dads present. To strengthen our bond after she started school, I planned a trip to Bergen, Norway. We interacted with locals and experienced the city’s charm during our adventure, emphasizing the Norwegian prioritization of children.
