European markets are poised for a dip as trading opens on Friday, following a volatile start to 2025. The U.K.’s FTSE 100 is expected to fall about eight points to 8,243, while Germany’s DAX and France’s CAC 40 are set to decrease by five and 21 points, respectively. Italy’s FTSE MIB may drop around 107 points to 34,430. The pan-European Stoxx 600 ended higher on Thursday amid global political uncertainties, including instability in France and upcoming German elections. Investors will also be monitoring inflation data from Turkey and Poland, along with unemployment and mortgage reports from Germany, Spain, and the U.K.
