FIFA 23, developed by EA Canada and EA Romania and published by Electronic Arts, is a significant release as the final title in the FIFA series, debuting on September 30, 2022. The game introduces several groundbreaking features, including Cross-Play, enabling players across various platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, and PC to compete against each other in ultimate team modes. This feature enhances matchmaking compatibility and reduces wait times for finding opponents with similar skill levels.

Gameplay improves through the use of Hypermotion 2 technology, simulating real-life matches and integrating 6000 unique player animations, thus enhancing player movements, passing, and shooting dynamics. New gameplay elements, such as the Power Shot and refined physics, contribute to a more realistic experience. The graphics have also seen an upgrade, with vibrant visuals and detailed player likenesses.

In FIFA Ultimate Team, the Chemistry system is revamped for more diverse team creation, requiring better strategic gameplay. Career Mode now includes features like Dynamic Moments, pre-season friendlies, and Playable Highlights, enhancing the off-field experience. Despite minor flaws, FIFA 23 promises to be a beloved title, serving as a fitting farewell to the FIFA name before transitioning to EA Sports FC.
