President-elect Donald Trump is assembling a tech-focused administration, showing Silicon Valley’s increasing influence. He has nominated Scott Kupor of Andreessen Horowitz as director of the Office of Personnel Management and Sriram Krishnan as senior AI policy advisor. Musk, a key advisor and supporter, will work with Krishnan and David Sacks, appointed as “czar” of crypto and AI. Trump also selected Ken Howery as ambassador to Denmark and Michael Kratsios for the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Tech leaders praised the nominations, signaling a shift as major tech companies support Trump’s second term, contrasting with his first.
