U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts expressed alarm over threats to judicial independence in his annual report, noting that threats against federal judges have tripled in a decade. He highlighted recent violence, including the killings of two state judges. Roberts condemned intimidation and disinformation, particularly on social media, as significant dangers to the judiciary. He criticized public officials for statements that could provoke harmful reactions, defending the integrity of judges against partisan attacks, exemplified by his conflict with former President Trump. Overall, he emphasized that such actions undermine democracy and must be strongly opposed.

Complaining about threats to judicial independence while ruling that bribing government officials is cool is an interesting choice

Maybe the judges should judge according to law like any other country’s judiciary rather than injecting their own political ideologies into their work

I really don’t know how you can say that these justices have no political motives yet have the president nominate them. Their entire job is to essentially interpret the constitution and make a ruling. Unless the hivemimd is real, I’m certain everyone doesn’t have the same interpretation of the constitution. It isn’t literal like many people think.
