Chess is a classic strategy game known for enhancing skills such as tactics, strategy, and visual memory. An application for players of all levels is being developed, aiming to make chess enjoyable and accessible, allowing players to unlock levels and aspire to become Chess Masters.
Chess pieces have specific moves: pawns move forward and attack diagonally; kings move one square in any direction; queens can move any distance in any direction; rooks move vertically or horizontally; knights move in an L-shape; and bishops move diagonally. Key game situations include check (when a king is attacked), checkmate (when a king is in check with no legal moves), and stalemate (when there are no legal moves but the king is not in check). The ultimate goal is to checkmate the opponent’s king.
Special moves include castling, which involves the king and a rook, and en passant, allowing a pawn to capture an opposing pawn that has just moved two squares forward.
The app features ten difficulty levels, chess puzzles, a game assistant, move undo capability, hints, and a scoring system based on completed levels. Players can choose between two board views and enjoy realistic graphics alongside sound effects. Players are encouraged to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement, contributing to the development of a better chess experience.
