Star Wars: Jedi Challenges is an augmented reality experience that transforms you into a Jedi using a smartphone and specialized gear, including the Lenovo Mirage AR headset, lightsaber controller, and tracking beacon. Players embark on a quest to master the Jedi arts, guided by an Archivist who presents various trials in combat and mental challenges.
The game features holographic explorations of iconic Star Wars planets such as Naboo, Hoth, and Takodana, bringing familiar scenes to life with characters and scenarios from the franchise, including characters from Star Wars Rebels and various film installments.
Training involves engaging in lightsaber battles against notorious villains from the series, strategizing in large-scale ground wars, and playing Holochess. Players can enhance their skills through Assault Mode, where they face waves of enemies, and duels with powerful foes like Kylo Ren and Darth Vader. Additionally, players will assume the role of a military strategist, commanding troops and deploying strategies to achieve victories on different planets.
As players progress, they advance through different ranks of the Jedi Order, culminating in Jedi Master status. Completion of various trials sharpens skills, allowing a deeper connection to the Force and confronting the dark side.
