On December 9, OpenAI launched its AI video generation model, Sora, in the U.S. and abroad. Some artists, including The New York Times and Getty Images, have expressed dissatisfaction with content scraping by companies like OpenAI and Stability AI. The U.K. aims to lead in protecting intellectual property rights, contrasting with the more heavily influenced U.S. legislative landscape.
